Am 2. Juli fand das Sportmedizinische Symposium in der ARCUS Sportklinik in Deutschland statt.
Gerade die letzten beiden Jahre haben gezeigt, welch wichtige Rolle die moderne Sportmedizin in der gesamten Gesellschaft(insbesondere im Freizeit- und Breitensport) spielen kann und welche Potenziale noch nicht ausgeschöpft sind.

Es war eine äußerst interessante sportmedizinische Veranstaltung, bei der praktische sowie evidenzbasierte Veröffentlichungen präsentiert wurden. Der Songrafie-Part wurde von Canon Medical Systems organisiert und unterstützt. Unser Fachexperte Dr. Ralf Doyscher (Mannschaftsarzt des Bundesliga-Fußballteams von Borussia Mönchengladbach) hielt einen Vortrag über die sonographiegestützte Injektionstherapie des Sprunggelenks.

On 19 December 2020, Canon Medical held the second instalment of its Global Sports Medicine Forum, entitled The Importance of Diagnosis in the Assessment of Muscle and Tendon Injuries and Recent Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Managing Sport Injuries.
The event, which was held during a joint meeting of The Japanese Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and the Japanese Orthopaedic Society of Knee, Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine, provided physicians from around the world with exclusive access to leading thinkers in the field.

Canon Medical is sponsoring the ‘Stade Toulousain’ rugby union club from Toulouse in France – one of the best rugby clubs in the world – with a Canon Medical Aplio i800 ultrasound system.

With the state-of-the-art ultrasound system installed at the club’s training center, it will have new possibilities to diagnose and treat any musculotendinous or osteoarticular injuries that their players might incur.

Canon Medical sponsors a ‘Mobile Medical Center’ for several top-level, global, sporting events including the Dakar Rally, Tour de France, African Cup of Nations and BMX European Cup.

Equipped with the Canon Medical CT and soon also with the Ultrasound system, the mobile medical center carried out more than 3,000 radiographs and more than 250 Ultrasound scans during events in 2016.
